pretty much not you can mount 315 35 17 on the stock rim and i believe they are 9's also... And mickey tompson all the way. Ive seen the front tires pulled up a foot on them... and it was a cobra!!!

FWIW.. I have the stock 17x9 rim and my nittos fit fine 315/35-17

Good I have alot of people telling me that they wont fit but I like the over hang on the sidewall it helps protect the wheels from curbs and such thanks very much!

just plain wrong here, i run a 315/35/17 on my stock 9in cobra wheels.the only 315 that will work though is the nitto to my knowledge. a 3o5 should be just fine.

well here at discount tires, we do not recommend fatter than 295 on ur 9 inch rim

The 315 Nitto will be fine on a 9" rim.. but it's really the only tire that will fit at that size. most tire places go "by the book" and by the book, your right, but it does fit without any issues. No real bulge or anything of the sort.

they actually look really good on the 9in rim but you really don't use all of the effective surface area of the tire like you might on a wider wheel.
