Sounds like a coil or plug. Not uncommon.....

I just changed the plug I put NGK TR6 and it still does it one of my buddy's 03 cobra does the same thing Iam not sure what the hell is wrong! It clears up around 1600 rpms and doesnt miss anymore threw the rest of the rpms. I haven't replaced all of the coils yet but I did buy on and go threw each coil and switch it out with the new one and see if I could find one that was bad but could not. Would there be a chance that all of the coils were bad? If so what are some good coils to buy for better performance?

Given your power numbers, I bet you are eitherpeggingyour mass air meter (reaching its voltage limit) or your coils are not getting enough voltage to keep the spark from blowing out. The stockMAF are supposed to be good for about 485-500hp (although I know people are making more with stock ones). Try one of two things, 1. Take it to a good shop with a dyno and let them check the mass air sensor voltage while making a low rpm pull. They can tell you if it needs upgrading. OR 2. Just buy an SCT Big Air meter and hope that fixes it. They are about $275. If your engine is not correctly reading the amount of incoming air (like when the MAF sensor pegs) it causes drivability problems. OR (if the MAF is fine, and it is an ignition problem) your spark might beblowing out. If that's the case a Kenne Bell boost-a-spark would likely fix it. From what I hear this is a common problem/fix with our Cobras. Given your sketchy diagnosis of the coils being OK, if the problem is in fact an ignition issue, this is more likely the problem than a bad coil or plug.

Oh yeah Motoblue makes some replacement coils for the 03 Cobra, that should be good, but as I said before I doubt that's the problem. They should make some power though

MSD coils are always a good choice
