Default Is this over-kill?

Is this overkill for a N/A application? I might turbo it when I have the money though. Mods are...

I agree, overkill doesn't exist, but a few questions. For an N/A combo, would you really want dished pistons, they are gonna lower your compression and kill some ponies. Although if you really see forced induction in your future, they would save you the cost of adding dished pistons later. Second, you list a Metco 8lb. lower pulley. I think that is a pulley used to up the boost on the 03-04 Cobras. Given the lack of a blower in your plans, I dont think you will need that one.

really? why its on there is a mystery to me then. I just bought this car, but yes, F/I will be in my future when I get the money.

The long block sounds likea good foundation for a build up...nothing close to overkill. But correct me if i'm wrong, but i don't think 42 lb injectors are needed for an n/a engine with that low a CR...seems like your pushing a lot of fuel into the car.

yes, but if I'm planning on a turbo application when I get the money, why not already have it installed and save money and time?

very true, the 42lb injectors won't hurt it. it the computer thats controlling how much fuel is gonna come out of those injectors. 42 lbs an hour is just the max amount those injectors can flow.
