98 COBRA HEATING PROB. !!!HELP

hey guys,i have a friend with a 98 cobra, that is having heating problems... it seems to work fine when he turns the heater on... so i think it may be a stuck thermostat...The thing is i dont know where this is located.... could anyone give me some input?

your going to have to be a little more specific/descriptive for anyone to help you much. Is it overheating until he turns the heat on? Is it an enginer heating or heater-related problem?

But to the regards of the thermostat location, under the car on the drivers side where the outlet side of the radiator is, there is a conjunction of 4 radiator hoses. The housing they all feed into holds the thermostat, 8mm on two bolts and it comes off, remember how the thermostat was installed and don't over tighten it as the housing likes to break[:@]. If he goes this far, you might as well flush the system as well.
