Horsepower sounds about right........Yes you should take the ZO6.

 

Plenty of 2003 Cobras without a lower pulley are making 500 to the wheel.. lowers don't really add peak rwhp they add more torque and power throughout the band... Most people with a upper, intake, exhaust, tune and a port will net 500rwhp. Lower pulley isnt needed.

I think it'll be close... I think the nitrous car should win, but you never know if that whipple has anything else on it...

 

my buddy has a whipple 2.3 on his cobra and made 575 at the wheels with 17.5lbs of boost and pump gas. it would be a close one.

 

Look at AZ Snake he has a ported blower with 3.0 upper and a 6lb lower and he doesnt make over 500rwhp!

 

good for him dude. Thats just means that u guys are running ur setups to full potential. I gottwo guys at psr, who is puttin over 550 rwhp with his ported eaton.

 

who you talkin to? bc if your talkin about my friend with the 2.3 making 575 putting that at full potential i dont think it is bc it still the stock whipple pully.

 

Post the dyno sheets and the Mod list because I dont believe it!

 

plenty are making over 500 with no lower, i was told if i got a stage 4 port i should be around 500-520 rwhp
your ported and you only have 8 more hp then me

 

lower pulleys are there for the tourqe and don'treally do anything for peak hp. as for beating a whipple car it should be close 465 + 150 shot should put you over 600 which is about what most whipple cars make at 20psi

 

If you look at most cars actually 500rwhp/torque on a ported blower + 150shot is around 650+rwhp and about that same amount of torque...
