Default looking to buy

Hey guys...
I've been reading your post for quite a while and i can see that you guys take great pride in you Cobras and I'm in need of some "decesion swaying". If anyone caught my new user post you would know that I am looking to get either a new GT or a mid 80's one. But as anyone else would do I have changed my mind since then and I think posting here is a hint to what i'm looking at.
Can anyone give me any info as to certain little problems that happen with the terminators (if any), things to look out for... any replys would be greatly appreciated

If you find a stock Terminator there isnt anything I'd be worried about as long as it looks like it waswell maintained. If your looking at one that is heavily modified, I'd be a bit nervous. Probably not as nervous as a mod'ed GT, or anything else for that matter, since the Termy's are pretty stout.

only real problems with the terminator:
some have head ticking issues, for which there was a recall
cylinder 7&8 seem to be the first to go, because of inefficient head cooling (LDC Chicago cooling mod fixes this)

Thats all i can thnk of.

How often does this problem happen?
What is the cost of repairing it?

Blownsvt how many miles do you have on your car I was just wondering. There is another thing about the Cobras they love the Alternator I have already put two of them on my car and I just had it for a year lol.
