hey guys i have a question about getting a eaton thats been ported. guy on this sit did the job himself, he says he has exprience doing porting. i know its good for a quick cheap hp gain but what else do i need to do to the car after i install the ported eaton. do i need bigger injectors, and bigger throtle body? i'm not trying to knock the guy selling it i just need to know what am i getting myself into. thanks

meh, i would be cautious..... My friend had his blower ported by Steigmyer and he put down some nice numbers...but with a ported eaton your going to need more cooling mods along with the other goodies

uhhh, i think u mean heat exchanger, and its intercooler, not innercooler, lol!

i would be leery about a self porting job, seen some people get no gain out of them. but depending on what your looking to do you will need injectors, and a bap.

Yeah I wouldn't touch it unless you saw what the car can do before and after it. I trust steig. with mine... it performs well.

Yeah, it's not something most can do. I'd get a tune after a big port job, but you might be maxing out your factory 39 lbers.

thank you eveyone and i think i'm going to pass on it. nothing against the guy selling it, but there is nothing that well say well work perfect and anything goes wrong repairs on me..

If your gonna get a port... get it done right with Steigmeier. Great customer service. Very good gains for the money. I honestly dont know if I've ever heard a bad comment on Stegy ports ever.

what is wrong with a home port if you do it the same way stiege does it? No experience is needend to know how to port a blower its not hard
