depends entirely on how low you want it.

I like the H&R Race springs with poly isolators, but that isnt low enough for some people.

I LOVE the stance. I think it sits perfect. Any lower and it would be too much. I can get over most speed bumps still, but just barely. If I had LTs I'd be dragging them all over the place. It's about 5 inches off the ground I'd say at the k-member.

You know, that's a good question. I had never really thought about it too much until you said that. I bought it with the springs already on it and he lists them as "H&R Super Sport Race Springs". However, if I understand correctly, H&R has Sport, Super Sport, Race, and Super Race. So "Super Sport Race" is confusing. I wonder if there is a way to tell a difference between them, like color or something. I'll have to get under it and see what I can find out.

Oh, and it's a live axle so it should actually be GT springs, not Cobra springs made for the IRS.

 

Some of the online vendors help to confuse the matter with how they label them.... you really need to look at the part number to make sure you know what your getting.

I would guess they are H&R Sport. Race springs sit higher than the Sport springs

I really want to lower my Cobra a bit, but the roads around here are so horrible there are spots where I scrape my exhaust with stock springs!! [&:].

 

I have the HandR sport springs and love the ride height.

I bought the Eibach Pro-kit for my 01 cobra. I believe its a 1 1/2" drop but there not on yet. Im going with 18's too.
