umm, yea that would definately be cool. I'd love to see a 5.4 in any mustang, let along a supercharged lightning motor. PS: would it fit with the charger? I mean, I've seen a 5.4 stang and its a hella tight fit (but it fit under the hood with some modifications

even the cobra r hood? i know they had trouble getting a similar setup in the cobra r by the wayand they hadwell *** paid techs workin their *** off to do it.

Well with the lightning supercharger it may not fit under the hood, but a regular 5.4 fit with just notching the hood a bit. I dont know what mods need to be done, or if alot of 4.6 upper parts were used to save space. But the stock 5.4 DID fit, you couldnt even tell it was a 5.4 if it were not that I had my 4.6 sitting right next to it.</P>

no it was a stock hood

 

I think it was 5.0 and Super Ford magazine that was gonna put a Lightning motor in a Mustang,you might wanna go back 6-12 months and look.
