Default bad brakes?

alright I just had my brakes done(Rotors and pads). I didnt take the brake lines off either. I have cross drilled slotted rotors with better pads. I only got the drilled/slotted rotors because they look good. I know I didnt really need them. But my question is....when I brake it doesnt feel like i have 13" brakes...it feels like im riding on drum brakes, cause the car doesnt stop like i would imagine it should. It takes a good amount of time to stop.

I also tried going from a 60mph roll and then I jammed on the brakes and it took an unusualk amount of time to stop. what do you guys think could be the problem?

did you spray some brake cleaner on the rotors? Also it may take a little bit for the pads to settle and level out. Mine were just like that but after a little bit of breaking the brakes were amazing.

if your experiencing an unusual amount of pedal travel then there could be air in the lines. check also to make sure you have sufficient fluid in the master cylinder and the fluid isnt excessively dark, as that will decrease clamping ability.
if on the other hand if there is short pedal travel, there may be a siezed caliper or your hydroboost may be failing, all of which affect braking force.
brake bleeding is usually a good idea after any brake work too btw...just my .02
