Default 99 cobras?

What EXACTLY are so defective about them? I know they didnt make the advertised HP because of a faulty catback/intake manifold or something along those lines? How big was the HP loss as compared to what they were advertised at and what else was wrong with them?

Also ECU mapping...
Anyway, if you are looking into one call ford w/ the VIN and they will tell you if it had the "fix"

you should have a sticker on the rad. if the ecu has been flashed. i dont think ford will offer the recall at this late time.
they failed to make the 320HP as adv. had more like 285/300.the exhast and ecu flash , and the honed intake got it there.
most dealer will skimp on the intake's
as for the exhast most people all ready changed that .
so the only thing they do is flash the ecu.

they had a steering knucke recall to and a braking brake recall. other then that they where ok cars.

what do you mean by braking brakes. like the rotors split? or something like bad braking?
