I'm looking to get some FR500's for my cobra. They're 18" black with a machined lip... What do you guys think of em? Also, how well do 18X9's do with the IRS?

 

18x9s should be fine. I think it's the 10.5s where problems start. I've been thinking of going with the FR500s myself on my 01.

 

i have 17x10.5 in the rear and thier fr 500s, they looks great.

 

I have the FR500 on my GT and CTR's on my cobra. The CTR's are by far much better in quality. And in my opinion, better looking. The chrome job on them is so much better. The FR500 seem plastic compared to the CTR's.

Both pairs of wheels came on both cars when I got them each. If I got another mustang in the future, I would put CTR's on for sure.

I would get chrome if it was a black car. I would get black on a silver or white car.But that is your preference.
