Default Raised rear end?

I was driving arounda few days ago and nocited a 96 GT with the rear end raised up and it had some beefy tires on it. I have a 98 Cobra and I was wondering what I need to get to raise the rear end up a little bit and where to get those parts.

First off raising the rear end takes the weight off and hurts you for weight transfer. Also, it will handle like crap! Bu I suppose if your heart is set on old school than you can get Lakewood Traction bars.(lower control arms) They have an adjustment for you to raise the back up 1" or lower it 1" or keep it factory heighth. I have them and they are awesome. Summit for $210
