oh noooo...please help!!!!
so i started my car today and it blew out some smoke. i didnt get a real good look at it cause i rolled down my window and just saw smoke pass by my car. didnt look blue. could it be because i have no cats? its done it before. could it be bad rings?

yea mine does that after driving it hard right when i turn it on. they told me that it is my valve seals but its not that serious

Me too, no biggie. I heard that when you turn your car off some oil may rest on the valve seats and it burns it right up after starting. Who knows, but it's common w/ the 32v motors, nothing serious...
Just started my car up after it had been sitting for2 months. Not a puff of anything but condensation!
You can get an air-to-oil seperator and mount it on your firewall. It's more for supercharged applications, but it stops even heavy smoking applications. Hooks up through your PCV valve. But this is only if you have ring problems. You can replace the seals, but I would rather deal with the initial puff of smoke. If it's not entirely blue, then it's not that bad!

phew...thats good news. my initial thought was my piston rings. and then i was thinking....maybe cause i have no cats. good to know thats its a common thing on these beloved 32v's
