Default Easy ??

I'm old school that just got a 03 cobra. I noticed that poeple don't change the gearin gthat much, is that because it has a 6 speed and its already has agressive gearing?

Also I noticed that the boost gauge and the sound of the blower is zero unless its under a heavy load is that because it has a blow off valve built in?

Thank you for you 411

it has a boost bypass for under 50% throttle, the gearing is alread 3.55's so they are fairly agressive already. there are just so many mods that willl quickly ad horsepower that the gears are just not that big a deal as with other cars.

+1....I have the same 6-speed tranny with 3.73's. To be honest, 1st gear is totally useless with more than half throttle and 2nd much the same. Most of the folks on here with 03 - 04 Cobras have as much or more hp/tq than I do.

I know a lotof guys swear by 4.10's, etc... But, you can't feel a different/steeper gear accelerate more if you're too busy spinning. My $0.02 on the subject
