are magnpacks louder than SLP? heard a vid on here where a guy has MAc LT's, prochamber and magnpacks and it sounds sooooo sick and really loud. I just ordered BBK LT's and im wondering if i should switch to magnapacks or buy a prochamber

SLP in my opinion. Loudmouth 1 with no cats and you will be heard! If that is ure goal. I have friends with both. The magnapacks sound great but the SLP's are louder by far.

now which sound better? not sure. id rather slp, esp since magnapacks have hideous tips.

+1. I have heard both and have respect for both. It would be a hard decision as far as what manufacturer sounded "better". They both sound awesome! Initially I started to buy Magnapacks but after tons of research and after literally hearing both, I prefer the SLP's over anyone. Again, this is totally personal preference.

I posted up a video feed of my set-up. BBK LT's O/R H-pipe and Magnapacks. My boy has same set-up except with SLP's. The SLP's are louder at idle and cruising speeds and are very spitty when you mash the gas. I love the sound at idle as it's very aggressive, but anytime you get on it, it sounds like there's no mufflers. My Magnapacks set-up sounds beefy at idle but it's pretty tame. It's deep and tame at cruising speeds which I love because if you have gears, 2900rpms at 80mph can get pretty loud and obnoxious after spending a little time on the highway and also cruising through a city you won't get bothered by the cops. It gets super loud only when you want it to. A quick burp of the gas wakes it up. The magnapacks are still loud on highway, but nothing like the annoyance of SLP's. I think they sound cleaner and just as deep as SLP's. Believe me when I say Magnapacks are plenty loud enough!!! I'll bump my clip up so you can hear it. Ohh, the SLP gets extremely ricey raspy when you run WOT which I can't stand. Good luck with your picks

i wanna go with slps but i cant find a cobra with o/r x pipe& slp lm1 catback. but i cant find one. so im probably going to stick with the mac catback.

i already have the SLP LMII's with an O/R x and it is VERY LOUD already. But I'm gonna be putting BBK LT's and i was wondering if magnapacks were going to quiet it down. I like being heard so right now the SLP's r staying on. was just trying to get a little more input about the magnapacks. They seem to be very "Poppy" after u get off the gas. my SLP's arent really like that too much

when i get on it. i have seen many of time's people cover there ear's.

HAHAHAHAHA...the LM2's are loud enough right now. LT's + O/R X + LM2's = police target. I can still be heard from like a mile away. as long as people around me know it's me...im satisfied.
