MPG ON '04 COBRA
This is a very general question given that there are probalbly lots of these posts on this forum.
Within the next year I am looking to maybe buy an '04 COBRA as a race/commuter car. I just want to know what kind of gas mileage these things get versus a regular GT. I am interested to know if the blower or heads or other motor differences affects the gas mileage.

on the 2004 gt it 17mpg city and 25mpg highway.
on the 2004 cobra 16mpg city and 24 highyway.
so as you can c they are both pretty much the same untill you step on it... the cobra will use more gas because of the supercharger when your driving is "spirited," the more air you push into your engine the more fuel its gonna eat, to put it simply. i have a 97 cobra and let me tell you i can watch my gas guage drop lol i love it tho.
If i had the money id go for the cobra.

RE: MPG ON '04 COBRA
Expect 12-13mpg in town and 16mpg or so highway. Unless you really lay off the gas and take it easy getting up to the speed limit, you'll never get those MPG numbers. I've pulled off 23 & 24mpg on the highway before, but I was doing the speed limit and as lost as you could be.
