this might sound dumb but will a 03/04 supercharger OEM fit a '97 Cobra?

with enough time and money yes, but why? with all the parts you'll have to buy you should just go ahead and buy an aftermarket s/c

 

Will it cost more then $1,000 for the parts?

 

lower blower plenum, supercharger, intercooler, resevior, pump, mounting brackets, tubes, throttle body, an intake tube, bigger maf, tune, belt, coolant...etc, etc, etc. for a heaton? not worth it and well over $1000 when its all said and done

Even if the eaton was just givin to you, still a butt load of work and money.
