people claiming stock sti's wont only hang but smoke termi's. i am an ls1 owner but do have enough knowledge and respect for the termi to know better. what's your take on this?

 

termi will beat a stock sti. if not, its the driver.

 

You're a pretty crappy driver if you own a Term and get "smoked" by a stock STI.

if a stock sti smokes a termi....it's definately the driver! I beat my friends stock sti with my old 97 cobra I used to have!...I'd pull about half a car every gear I'll shift! All I had was 3.73 gears...full exhaust and MSD ignition modules with 9mm Ford Racing Spark plug wires and 375's real tires! So if anyone says stock STI smokes Termi Cobra's they have no idea what they are saying!

 

oh forgot to mention! I also beat a twin turbo 92 300 Z....dude was claming he had 350 horsepower! so I decided to race him and make him look bad in front of his girl! I was a bit nervous, but I had a lot of confidence with my car! not that i'm conceided or anything like that! I just have a lot of confindence with stangs!....beat him buy 2 cars!don't get me wrong car was fast, but wasn't fast enough to handle my snake!so that should tell "people" that have sti's they could hang or beat termi's! can't stand S*#@T talkers!

 

stock STI's r slow IMO. my friend has a 05 wrx and raves about the power the STI's make. one of his boys dumped $15K into his STI and only churned out 450awhp. termi owners drop 3K and make like 500whp...

But to theOPI've never really had problems with stock or evenmildly moddedsti's! And have never had the "luck" oflining upwitha highly modded one! So for someone to say that they'll smoke atermie(even a stock one) is ridiculous!

More like $1500 to get a cobra to 500hp.
