it is really only rated to 400 ft lbs i think, but there are lots of us putting 6-700 hp through them with no problems. you should be able to do 4.10 without any trouble

what are you thinking for a clutch. the stock terminator clutch will only last so long at that power level.

I wouldn't go with a T56 swap for a gt imo. You will need atleast 4:30's to be comparable on take off as your 3650 right now. The t56's have a very high 1st and 2nd gear ratio compared to the t45's and t3650's. I would honestly go with a TKO500 or 600 over a T56 all day long!!! They can handle the power you want, they are cheaper, they are much less install work and they have a closer gear set-up than the 6spd. Unless that's the only thing you were hoping for was the 6spd? I would get the viper spec t56 as it has a 26spline input shaft vs. the cobra t56's only have a 10spline which is the main cause of failure in those and is the big restriction point for power capabilities. The viper spec can handle anything you throw at it unless your running a 900+ twin turbo set-up. Also the viper spec has a little bit lower of a gear for 1st and 2nd than the cobra t56. Not by much though. I would still stick with 4:30's on a t56!!! Good luck

you can upgrade the input shaft pretty easily and the TOB and retainer sleeve. i will be putting 800rwhp or so through my t-56 with 3.25 gear ratio

Really you think The tko500 would be better? Thats only a five spd I was looking for the 6spd with low sixth gear becasue i wanted 410s and didnt want to be at high rpms

You can get a TKO-600 with either a .82:1 or .64:1 5th gear. The Viper-spec T-56 has a .62:1 sixth gear. With a 25.6" tire (275/40-17), you would turn 3100 RPMs in 5th gear on a 4.10 gear at 70 mph with a .82 5th gear. You would turn 2400 RPMs with a .64 gear with the same set up.

4.10's wont be enough gear with a T56. It'll be more like the equivalent of 3.55's combined with a T3650 tranny in 1st and 2nd gear.
