Default Seat Belt

I have a 1997 cobra and my passenger side seat belt wont come out of the retractor. I talked to a mechanic today and he saidI might have to replace the whole thing and he said it would be cheaper to get it from a junk yard. My question is what other year mustang seat belts would fit in my car or do I have to get a seat belt out of a 1997 mustang? I found a seat belt that was pulled from a 1994 mustang i believe on ebay for $129 for all four seat belts and retractors and the guy says all of the retractors work, sowould this work and is this a good deal?

Thanks in advance.

Wait 50 for a new seat belt? One of my customers is a mechanic and he told me that one new seat belt is $400-500... i know that his shop rips people off left and right so i never go to them but i didnt really think it would be by that much... so was he just lying to me anda new seat belt isnot really 400-500 because i found that really hard to believe when he told me thatbut i have never researched into how much a seat belt cost.another question is what years will fit into my car?

Thanks again.
