I have a 96 cobra that is haveing some troubles.

Sometimes it idles at 1005rpms then back to 1000rpms and thats when I push in the clutch when I am come to a stop, but it wants to rev up and down till I come to that stop. If that makes any since to anyone.

Today it was totally different.....2000rpms down to 1000rpms and it would stay there for a few. Then the Idle would drop almost killing the engine, and then it would rev back up to a 1000rpms.

Does anyone think they could help me???

Also I changed out the TPS, ICV, VS I hope those are the right Abrevs....

Also I was thinking about resetting my computer, does anyone know how to do that???

 

u can semi reset ur computer by unplugging the battery and leavin it off for alittle...you could also go to a mechanic and have them run the system and it will give u code of wut couldbe wrong or go get a tuner urself it could just be the car not liking the mods to it

Watch out if you have a bbk coldair mine had the IAC hole filled by glass/sand from casting.

 

o ya i was thinkin it could also be a messed up vacuum line but ur dude from ford should be able to figure it out

 

Hey thanks guys, my dude at ford drove my car home this weekend and it acted like it want to die. It he said that the rpms went crashing down like it was about to die. But it finally jumped back up. I think my car is crazy
