Default IMRC DELETE info!!!!

I just thought I would add this info so if anyone bothers to type imrc delete in the search engine this would pop uppotentially saving usfrom answeringthis question ever again: )First off an imrc delete is for 1996-98 cobra's only. The imrc unit was made to encourage proper cylinder filling at low rpms in the 4.6 dohc engine. The 4vB series headis too open andlowers the air velocity at low rpms meaning a hugeloss of torque and fuel economy. To prevent this from happening ford made the imrc actuator which closes the round intake port until a set rpm.Removing the Imrc unit is not going to be for everyone so further research is suggested rememberFORD PUT IT IN THERE FOR A REASON! Here are some helpful links for deleting your Imrcs and solving the problems associated with their removal.

Information regardingimrc removal http://home.flash.net/~ivc1/cobra/imrcdel.html

Information regardingremoval ofCHECK ENGINE LIGHT AND THETIMING RETARDING THAT COMES WITH IThttp://home.hawaii.rr.com/hfpc/imrc/

In case they ever read this thanks to the authors of all above links for their fine work : )
