Default Good deal?

So my dad could get a new truck through his job this year, but he would have to pay income tax on the value and instead of paying income tax on a 42k plus truck he was thinking of buying a car. I was thinking of giving him my car ( 2003 V6 mustang ) and getting a cobra for myself. He's not too fond but I think I can convince him to do it ( I have a way with words with him )

Anyways I found a cobra near me for $27,000 with 8 k miles, 2003 model. Has these mods already:

Mods: Kooks Longtube Headers Magnaflow X w/ Hi-Flo Cats Magnaflow Catback Full length subframe connectors BBK Cold Air Intake BBK Throttle Body Pro 5.0 Short Throw Shifter Laurel Mountain Mustang Air-Bags Billet Flow IRS Brace Autometer Tach w/Shift light Autometer Lunar Boost Gauge 18" BOYD Coddington Wheels w/Good tread left (Or Also have available 17" Stock OEM Chrome Cobra wheels with tires -- Only 1000 Miles on them.) New Shocks with 3 Way Adjustables in the rear Styling Bar with 3rd Brake light Heat Exchanger 2.80 Pulley 4300K Bi-Xenon HID Headlights 4300K HID Fog Lights Carbon Fiber Interior Trim Car also has custom ghost flames painted on the hood in the cowl area - very subtle cannot really see in pictures. Im sure im forgetting some things the car has but as I remember I will post them up! Car was tuned by *** made 487 Rwhp and 504 lbs tq. Dyno Sheet Picture Below.

I thought it was a pretty good deal through a private seller and was thinking of getting it. Anybody have any feeling on if its a good value or not? Not sure I like the wheels either, but he says he has the stockers as well...

Only problem is that its silver. I don't really like silver, kind of blah. Not too keen on the convertible factor either. Anybody have any particularly sexy pics of silver terminators to change my mind[8D] Greatly appreciated if you do!

It's a pretty solid deal but if it's not what your looking for then don't get it.

I'm not a big fan of the wheels or the side skirts it has on it.

i agree. why give up $300 side skirts and put those on it. also the wheels are ok i guess. but hey if it comes with the stockers than itll be better. But its all up to you. if you want a vert or coupe. If you'll grow accustomed to the silver or just not like the color.

I think its a good deal though.

Here you go!

There is a nice vert on this website with black CCW's. Check the bottom of page 1 and top of 2.

hmmm... for some reason, i doubt your dad is gonna let you go from a 160 hp mustang to a 460 hp mustang...i also think 27k is extremely expensive for a fairly heavily modified cobra, i was looking at one the other day that was 21k with 20k miles on it.... i think you probably have a better shot letting him get you a GT
