Im looking to by an 03-04 cobra. I would like to know what the difference is between and 03 cobra and an 04 cobra. I have an 04 mach 1, so im new to this stuff.

 

virtually nothing at all. the 04's have slightly revised heads with more threads for the spark plugs but that is about allI know of.

 

Yeah your better off with the 03. Save some money and get virtually the same thing. There were a few more colors avaailable in the 04 i belive

 

so theres no difference in the porformance of the 03 cobra and the 04 cobra?

 

No they are all the same man, just base it on your budget.

 

THE 03 HAD SOME HEAD PROBLEMS,SOME HAD IT SOME DIDNT.I WENT WITH THE 04.. WHEN YOUR SHOPING AROUND LISTEN FOR A LOUD TICK DRIVERS SIDE UNDER THE CAR, IF YOU HERE IT WALK AWAY.

 

The head tick correction didn't come out until January 2005. The heads in your 2004 are just as crappy as the ones in the 2003. The head tick can also occur in the 2003 and 2004 Mach 1. It also doesn't do anything to your motor... just really annoying. It's also not a tell tale the car was beat on either, it can happen to anyone at anytime due to the flaws in the head.
