Me and a friend installed it today and I love the short shifts...we ran into a small problem...we tightened the bolts to tight so they were grinding everytime i shifted...but we fixed it and now its good

I am curious, what bolts did you over-tighten? Mine has nice short-throw, but don't recall any adjustments screws except the "stop" bolt on front and back of shifter mount plate. Is there a way to limit the play as well? I have just a little more than I would like, and didn't know therewas an adjuster for it.

those were the bolts i was talking about there was one up top and one in the rear we just had to loosen just a lil so that the shifter when going to 3rd wouldnt hit the bolt and the same for 4th..but other than that its a nice short throw now I just have to get used to going straight up to 3rd and not having to go over a lil

That's what I figured. They are stop bolts so you don't wear the syncrosout resting your hand on stick while driving as well as "bang" the gears when you are "banging" the gears
