Default 03 COBRA WORTH IT?!?!

i made like the same post in the 4.6 section, so i apologize, but i am looking for some opinions of cobra owners in particular. im looking at buying an 03 cobra coupe, sonic blue, 71,500 miles n bunch of mods already. anyone have a cobra with much higher mileage? how high can i expect it to go? can i trust someone else's mods? and what kinda price u think is fair?

thanks a ton

Wouldn't do it... Unless you got a KILLER DEAL. It's modified and a high milage car. I wouldn't touch it for over 15k - Chances are you will have a rebuild sooner then later.

Mine was 50k modified pretty good, and was starting to show the wear... now, there have been 70k+ Terminator running fine, but you can get ~30k miles for 23ish.. depending on how much they want for it should make the decision for you - but you probably will end up with an engine rebuild in a year or so, if not sooner imo.

+1, if its modded a good bit you can bet it was ragged ona good bit, kazp probably has that one nailed, 15K or less buy it or else just walk away, i saw one with 4xK for 20,500, one owner completly orginal look around you will find a good deal.

I just picked up an 03 repo for $3500! It's missing a bunch of little things including the supercharger. I can't wait to get it back on the road!

I bought an 03 for a pretty good deal. The mods were somewhat mild with pulley, exhaust, heat exchanger, dyno tune with programmer and I have had no problems at all. It had about 60,000 miles but like I said It was a good deal for around 17,500 and came with about 5,000 dollars in parts brand new in the box. I love mine more nad more everyday.
