just curious does anyone know how fast a 03-04 cobra can run top end if the govenor is removed? ive read between 170-175mph is that correct or has someone heard different?

 

well if you ignore the possibilty of the engine going boom the car will do around 180 for sure. however, the aerodynamics play a MASSIVE role in the car. i see a real close 190mph if the engine held and at 6500rpms.
however, their is a guy on svtsnake.com that has a modded termi (pully, exhaust, intake, tune) that did 180+mph at 6000+rpms in 5th so i dunno you can ask him lol

 

with the right gearing, tires and safelpace to di it i imagine mine could go over 200mph. I have a little more hp than stock though lol.

if your talking stock then the car come governed at 155mph, but after that its all a matter of how much money you have to invest in the car and how much open road you have...
