i need some ideas on a stroker kit, i have a choice between 331 or a 347

and should i get flat top pistons, dish pistons, or domed pistons

wich 1 fits a 99 cobra
4340 siries or a 9000 siries?

those are kits for a 5.0 motor you have a 4.6

4.6 can get stroked to a 5.0 and 5.1. also i believe with the big bore and larger stroke you can go to 32x something

 

im tryin to stroke it up to atleast 4.9 or 5.0 where can i find the kit for my type of car
what kind of siries is it?

 

i dont know that much about pistons kranks and stuff

 

This isnt comin from me cause im not the go to guy on this kinda thing but my buddy told me that strokin the 4.6 motors is a ****ty gain of HP unless you do somethin called a big bore. Im not to sure what that is just tryin to help out a little. Said the money you spend on strokin it you could out and get all new cams and tune the motor for that much your pay for strokin it. Said it was a 15 hp gain alone of RWHP. I mean if its true sounds pretty lame but hey hopefully someone else could pitch on this post and say somethin else.
