quick question:

is the center section of the IRS in a 99/01 cobra iron or aluminum? I'm getting mixed answers from people.

 

pretty sure its aluminum.the cobras share the same pumpkin as the mark VIII's and there aluminum for sure.

early Mark 7's have the same housing but are cast iron. I upgraded to one of those units for more strength. I think it was out of a 93 lincoln. Make sure you get one withtheABS SENSORE HOLES or you will have to modify it your self before installing.

 

if it was a 93 its a mark VIII not a mark 7. my 95's is aluminum
