Cobra SVT???????

Cobra SVT???????
Could someone tell me what year they started putting superchargers in the Cobras?
And what makes the SVT an SVT? Someone is trying to tell me that if it says its a Cobra SVT, then that means it hasa supercharger. The car I'm looking at doesn't have it. Its an 02. He is saying that the person selling the car, must have took it out. But I thinking that the superchargers didn't come out until 03'.

um well there were no cobras in 02. and you are right, no blowers until 03.
SVT is just the group/team that headed the production of the cobras from 93 onward. just like SVO in the mid 80's with the turbo 4cyl's (coincidentally named the SVO mustang).
edit: i figure i should add that there technically was a cobra in 02, but it was only available in Australia, and has a different front bumper. i figure if i didnt mention this, someone would be all over trying to say there was one when its completely irrelevant anyway.

Isn't there technically atleast one " '02 Cobra "? I'm talking the MystiGold one that was shown off at Carshows?
As for the 'SVT Cobra' badge on the trunk, that was just what it said (IIRC) from 94-99, they changed it to just 'SVT' on the 01,03-04.

there was also no cobra made in 00.. except the specail CobraR in which only 300 specail order ones were made.
Also it did just say "SVT" on trunks for all years... I dont remember EVER seeing "SVT Cobra" badge on a trunk..Could be wrong, but i unno..
