I'm going to purchase a Catted x-pipe for my 03 Cobra...Currently I have a Flowmaster CB, with typical bolts on, 2.93 BF pulley, AFCO HE, LFP tank, JLT CAI & SCT Xcal2 tuner from RWTD...

I'm leaning towards the Bassani SS catted X, 2nd would be the SLP...Magnaflow seems to be real $$$$...any thoughts? ....Who has the best price?

Any problems with the check "engine light" coming on? ....Can you turn off the rear O2 sensors with the SCT or do you have to get a tune?

A catted bassani X sounds pretty damn good... Thats what i used to have...

 

If you go with a catted mid-pipe you'll be fine as far as the 02 sensors. I had the Magnaflow catted X-pipe and IMO it sounded just like the Bassani, but for a few less bucks. You might consider the MRT catted H-pipe. It is stainless as well. I mention it because the X-pipe and H-pipe have unique and different sounds/tones. X-pipes have a more exotic sound. H-pipes maintain what I call the classic Mustang muscle sound.

 

Go with the Bassani Catted X.

 

Just purchased a Bassani catted X from LFP...

 

I hope you have better luck with LFP then everyone else. They have gotten really bad lately. You either get your package a month from now or it is packed and shipped off shi**y. There customer service has also gone down the tubes. They dont seem to return e-mails or phone calls. Let us know how this goes. If I were you from now on I would order from lethalperformance. A+ customer service!
