i have 18"rim X 8.5 what is the max tire size that could fit? and any recommendation for great sticky tires? thx

 

You will be able to run somewhere between235~255 on an 8.5' wheel. Each manufacturer will have slightly different standards and acceptable fitment for a given width/profile, so you need to confirm when you find tires you like. As for tires I recommend, I have great success with Michelin PS2's. I had previously run the Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3 and found the PS2 far superior in the corners.

i agree on tire size maybe even stretch a 265 but that would prolly make it "sloshy"....and i have nitto nt555 drag radials and they hook up great, but these are def summer tires and are ok in rain

 

i had 275's on my 17x8's

 

275, without TOO TOO much stretch... 255 will be an even fit... also, as mentioned, depends on the tire company as well...
