KB or Whipple?
Tommorow i may be purchasing a 03 sonic blue cobra with 21000 miles on it. i have a 02gt with a kb on it now and absolutly love the thing. i have a buddy that has a whipple on his 05 gt running 14psi on stock block dunno why but we raced and i had him by a good 2 car lengths. he was not impressed at all with the whipple but can any of you give some advice between the two blowers? much would be appreciated.

RE: KB or Whipple?
dont know that much about the KB, but a friend of mine has a 04 cobra, whipple 2.3L 15 psi and 595 rwhp. your friend running 14psi on stock block is a time bomb, dude. i also know someone w/ a 03 or 04 cobra w/ a 3.4L whipple, not sure of the psi, but has 660 rwhp.

Both are great!! 3.4L whipple will make more hp than the 2.8 KB though... Both are more than sufficient for the average cobra gear head... kb is slightly louder
