ok, i bought my 01 cobra about a month ago. the original owner of the car had someone back into him with a hitch, so theres a dent in the front bumper...now i was going to replace it, no big deal. but should i go and but the 03 cobra bumper on it? Will it fit right? or should i just replace it with the bumper it comes with? need some opinions because im stuck on the fence on what bumper would look best...also where can i find either an 01 bumper or a 03-04 bumper? im not a big fan of ebay cause i've been ripped off before...is there a mustang website that sells them?

i would go with the 01 one, just because it looks best with the mach one chin spoiler.

theres an aftermarket one for almost half the price of the oem one.

i believe that the 01 fog lights can be used with the 03-04 cobra bumper not sure? someone else can help with that

93 Cobra front bumper ftw.. lol a buddy of mine has a hybrid (not the fuel kind of hybrid) new edge (99-04) front clip(fenders hood, bumper) on a foxbody(87-93) he said it took forever to make it fit right and eliminate gaps, i really don't know him that well i dont know why i even called him my buddy lol my brother bought his 88 GT from him but yeah.

 

now if i got the 01 front bumper, how much is it gonna cost to get it painted? will the paint match? also i cant find the 01 bumper anywhere, is there a website i can go to? or can i take it up to a ford dealership and order one?

well for body panels etc. i usually look in the links provided. other than that link there is others but i dont know their web adress internet. to get it painted, your gonna get different price quotes everywhere you go. i suggest ppg paint as it is the best out there.
and dont go to ford to get a bumper, unless you got the extra cash to throw at them. other thing i suggest is junkyards, but i doubt you'll see any cobras there. later
