My buddy had a 97 vert with a king cobra package i think it was called it was the baddest **** out i thought back then goodluck man.

Hey I know what side exhaust your talking about but have any of you seen the Oval exhaust sometimes seen on a cobra or a Boss mustang 96-98 who made that exhaust.. Because the SVO was made by Borla and has two tips slash cut through the oval side-skirts but this exhaust tip was oval shaped to fit the oval side skirt i like this one better any help would be appreicated

 

You know you could just change the tips anyway, right?

 

Any exhaust shop can fab up side exit. You need mufflers with the inlet and outlet on the same end. With the right muffler, you'll pick up power over a rear exit set up.

 

Where can I get mufflers that have the inlet and outlet on the same end???????

Most companies make at least one that style. I like the Spin Tech 333SCS. Best performance I've found. Roush guys tend to swap them in to replace the Magnaflow set ups they get 'stock'. Deeper sound and more tq.
Borla and Bassani both have same side inlet/outlet mufflers as well.
