03-04 Cobra...What to look for?
Well the time has finally come for me to get my dream car. I will most likely be trading my '04 Roush in on an '03 Cobra. I found one just in my price range with the right mileage.
Can someone please tell me everything I need to be looking out for, and what to check...
Thanks for all the help, it is greatly appreciated.

Even 2v's can develop the head tick.
The best way to detect the headtick, get yourself a mechanics steth. Get the car out for a test drive and get a fair amount of heat in it. Pull over, stick your mechanics steath on BOTH HEADS. Regardless of what anyone may tell you, both heads can develop the tick although it's the drivers side head with the flaw.
Also, if the car still has IRS, listen for any hums or whirs. If the drivetrain is EXTRA clunky (all these cars have a loose noisey feeling drivetrain), it's likely the IRS was wheel hopped and now the diff case is cracked and leaking slowly.
All of these things aren't the end of the world, but they could be insulting when you pay retail or private party for a car that's eventually going to need work.

The car is slightly modified. It has upper & lower pulleys (uncertain of size), a steeda tri-ax shifter, and I believe it's a Stainless Works SS Exhaust.
I believe the car is around 450rwhp.
How good is the Steeda Tri-Ax? I have had the MGW in my '99 GT and my '04 Roush and absolutely love it. How does the Tri-Ax compare in feel and quality?
Any more information will be great, and I haven't used the search function because it never seems to work for me.
