Default buying a cobra soon

Hey guys, i've been looking around for an 03 cobra and i've finally found one and was wondering what i need to look for?

the price seems kind of low too, it has a cai and flowmasters with 31,000 miles on it and he's asking 19500, think there might be something wrong with it?

Well, I’m currently trying to sell mine. It’s a 2003 10th anniversary with 22,500 miles. It has always been garaged straight clean title. In awesome condition, but has minimal mods. I have all the stock parts also. It has a roll bar, 3in. SS Magnaflow exhaust, under drive pulley, Steeda cold air intake, Steeda drop, and a programmer. I'm asking 25,000. I have several pictures and can get plenty more if you may be interested. To answer your thread though 19K seems low. Although, I can defiantly understand needing to sell a car because you may need the money or something. If that was the case then it could be a great deal.

Why is it that every week there is always someone that makes a thread asking what they should look for in a 03/04 cobra? I mean its getting old. Use google or the search button, it works now!!! This question has been answered a million times already.

I did, I searched and found all kinds of things, but I wanted to get the info from people who had actually purchased them and know the ins and outs of them. Better safe than sorry.

It just gets annoying answering the same ones over and ov er again.. I know we've answered this question in this exact forum probably 4-5 times over the last month.

People need to title threads properly for the search function to easily & quickly answer questions Mustang3GT07....

Anyway, it's possible the car is paid off and the person is looking for a quick sale. It is the time of the year for storage in the East, they need money quick and know demand isn't as high right now as it will be next May. But, this is rarely the case.

You will need to go over the car with a fine tooth comb, check for the head tick, go for a decent drive and get a lot of heat in the engine. Listen for any hums or whirrs coming from the rear end, etc.

19k would be an awesome deal, even if the car has some minor issues and you'd have to spend a couple grand to fix. You'd still fall in line with what you would pay for a pristine car if you have to spend 5-6k bringing it up to par.
