hey guys i just traded my 01 cobra in for an 03 cobra...payed 16,500 and its only got 21k miles, fully stock.....anyways the only problem is that the hood is sun faded like no other..i live in phoenix arizona so its understandable...lol.....well i want to get it painted but i was wondering how much its gonna cost, and if its gonna cost alot would it be worth just getting 2 flat black stripes down the center?

 

just goto a local shop (that you can trust) and get an estimate...I would think in the area of $200+ for the hood....what about the fenders?

 

everything else is in perfect condition...its just the hood...not even the roof is faded...kinda odd

you chose the right color my friend, you chose the right color. i myself have to repaint my car, the paint is fading of on the fenders roof and decklid. the fender is most noticeable.

and be sure to ask for ppg paint. they are top of the line, better than Dupont iMO.
