Who likes their IRS?

lol you don't NEED a 9" with 550+... really it's a bit overkill for most anyone thats not going to be doing 5grand drop on some hoosiers and 700+rwhp...
but there are ways to beef up the IRS. just like there is with the SRA... and both can still break... I just really do prefer the SRA ride to the IRS..

IRS is far superior to what an SRA is capable of. You really just need to build it correctly. A fully built IRS will outperform a fully built SRA on any open track. If you get stiff enough springs with a built IRS, you'd be able to launch an IRS equipped mustang with no wheel hop issues.
I am not sure how you guys that claim there is no noticeable difference in feeling between a SRA and IRS. I went from a 8.8 to IRS, with new bushings and 525lb rear coilovers and the IRS floats over dips in the road where the 8.8 would feel like it gets demolished. Also the stock 4 link with the SRA setup is the most horrible performance setup.
I prefer the IRS over the SRA in every way, but that may be because it's my dd that see's a few soloII and a HPDE's, and I'm sure the fact that I've spent almost all my money on suspension and none on increasing hp/tq.
