^ why go c heads? b heads when done correctly are virtually just as well in flow, the new intake sullivan performance is coming out with for b heads is one of the best 4.6 dohc intakes made. I think people see b heads to c heads as they do npi heads to pi heads too much.

B heads have WAY too much intake port volume, and need a ton of RPM to make decent power. C heads will give you that low-end/mid range power than most 4V owners look for while still making power up top.

Eh, I still would stick with B heads, not like you can't do a high rpm clutch dump =). I'm just more into the high RPMs I guess, it's not like it takes long to get into 'em, and I don't like how poeple always look down on b heads, when built right, they perform just as well if not better than C's in high performance apps.

^ Its not that there not good for high performance applications its that there(B heads) better for Forced Induction Applications rather than naturally aspirated.

Yeah you're right, in that sense. NAkings b headed(i believe b headed
) car on modularfords.com He has the fastest NA 4v in the world, revs up to like 10k RPM pretty mean ride. Cobrasnake on here had a pretty built up b headed car too, made like 412rwhp I don't know torgue. But yea if you're just going to make it into a mild beast i see why you'd like c heads.

If it were my choice... Go with the 5.1 stroker... Get your heads ported (there is a guy out here that does an amazing job and they flow crazzy numbers less than 2g) even though your going na with the stage 2 cams you need flow to get hp. No matter what your going to be down on tq low and hp with a na setup until you hit the juice. With the 5.1 setup you can easily break the 400 rwhp mark with more tq because of the longer stroke and the larger ammount of air going in and out. You are already going to have to buy rods and pistons your just adding the price for the larger crank. Just my .02

there you gooo... Perfect setup... Ported stage 3 heads, stage 2 cams. Match ported intake manafold, nice set of kooks long tubes, 5.1 L stroker setup. Easy 400 mark mabe add a + to that 400 at the tire and you will have a mega strong bottom end that could handle a 150+ shot easy. Wway sleeper. If thats what your going for and if not put a loud a$$ exhaust and hear the cams baby!!!
