It's alright... You don't need those... Did you Powder coat your Timing cover or paint it? I'm sending all my parts off to be PC as soon as I get everything apart. I may even do the S/C. My intake an valve covers are Ford blue right now but I don't know what color I'll be going with...

I used A high Heat paint and a high hear clear my block and oil pan match too.

I was going to do the valve covers as well, and only leave the BBK lettering bare alumanium. But I decided not to paint them, I was afraid i would mess them up (that and I was too lazy)

After I painted mine it only took a couple of weeks and one fuel rail problem to make the paint look like crap.

No problems here with the JLT... & this is the first I have ever heard that as well! ...Jay makes a real nice piece that makes big power + you can have it paint matched!

Additionally, if there ever was a problem, Jay would take care of it!

Now do you drive your car in the rain? See the only problems I would have to worry about is I would worry that my filter and maf would get wet. I try not to drive my car in the rain but its my DD and I cant afford another car since I'm only 20 and still live at home lol. I try to drive my moms car in the rain and snow but I cant always do that. Do you see any problems with it getting wet?

Its not like the JLT filter is hanging out the fender...in fact it's tucked up there pretty good....I would just avoid "pot holes" and as always slow down a little in the rain (with DR's)...basic 101

In fact I have in several thunderstorms coming home from PA and my Cobra still runs fine!
