im putting my frpp lowering springs in B springs in front Bullitt's in rear, my question is should i put the spring iso's in or can i go with out them? what will happen if i dont put them in? doing this tmmw so need advice soon.
thanks
thanks

I had an '85 GT Stang with FRPP springs and no isolators for over 20 years and had no issues with perches. I used heavy grease on end-coils to eliminate squeeking that I predicted I might get. As for noise, I suppose there was some minor additional noise, although VERY minor. The isolators get so compressed that harshness was unknown as springs were already heavier than the stockers. I am sure there was some additional ride noise and such, but the trade-off for gaining another 1/2"~3/4" drop as I did, was worth NOT messing up the spring rate by cutting/clamping coils.

I disagree

no one ever said anything about cutting or using clamps, just getting shorter springs if he wanted a lower ride height. you will not know if your car will be raked until you put them on the car then drive it around to see how the springs settle. spring drops arent always what the advertise drop will be. good luck
