how much would the IRS outweigh a solid rear axle? anyone know?

I thought IRS was 150 lbs lighter. Maybe I'm getting my facts wrong

70-80 lbs heavier depending on year.

its anywhere from 75 to 125 depending what sra you buy. If you go gt sra then its about 75lbs lighter than the IRS

75lbs heavier than an 8.8 found in a GT. However the weight gain is sprung weight and the weight lost is unsprung weight, so its not a huge difference in weight. Also, you balance out weight distribution alot with the IRS.
