Default s/c belt

just for future reference, how often does the s/c pulley belt need to be replaced on an 03 cobra and does i have to take it to a ford dealership to get it done or will anyone have the right belt for it?

Depends I think ford recommends every 30k but I have seen from people change them from 10k to 60k. It just depends on how long it lasts.

You can change the belt yourself - requires basic skills....

i meanchanging the front belt seems easy, but you don't have to take anything off to get to the one that runs the s/c?

i always inspect my belt at least every couple weeks for wear. i already had the belt/pullies go bad on me after only about 6 months after installing the SC, so i'm a little **** about it.
