I think you did pretty good on the sale of your V6 Stang. You might see if you can get the owner of the Cobra to come down any. Maybe he's firm on the $10K. It is certainly a plus that the car only has 38K miles on it. That's only about 4K miles a year. I would want to check the condition of the motor and drivetrain before laying down $10K. Looks pretty promising based on what you've disclosed. Best of luck with your decision.

Oh, and is the color (exterior and interior) of the Cobra a combo you really like? Avoid settling on something if possible. JMO.

if you dont get that Cobra for $9k, you will def. regret it....just make sure it wasnt beat up on. Usually when someone puts 4.10's in a car and then sells it, its been run pretty hard, just check the engine/tranny/rearend and get a carfax report to make sure its all good...

def. true.... i would feel comfortable buying almost any of the cars on this forum because people here love their cars enough to log on and just talk about them...i'm just saying that if i was looking to buy a Cobra with an aggressive gear like 4.10, i would def make sure its good to go.....unfortunately there are some mustang owners (even SVT owners) that dont care how hard they run the cars because they know itll be someone elses problem. i dont want to sound like a douche or a nag, but i just dont want someone who is smart enough to log on here to get screwed by someone who ran their car into the ground (even in only 40k miles), ive seen it happen to friends and it sucks. lying to people about purchases is one of my pet peeves....i really hate dishonest people.
