A little problem with the car...
So for the last couple days my car has this rotten egg smell to it. Like sulfur. I was told that usually happens when you car is running rich, but wouldnt that throw a code? Could it be a bad cat? anyone got any ideas? The mods on my car are in my sig and car has only 13,500 miles on it.

Well I also made a post over on svtp and the responses I get were, 1. Condensation in the cats and its burning off. 2. Bad cats and 3. Some people said they had this problem with there stock midpipe since they bought there car brand new in 03/04. So IDK what it is lol

if it smells like sulfur then I would say either mfj or one of your cats took a crap. wait it out (if this is recent) to see if the condensation burns off. if not then the cat might actually be bad, and to my knowledge it wouldnt throw a code if only one cat went bad, as long as the sensors are still within the acceptable range...but idk for sure.
and only go with o/r if youre ok with the car being really loud...i vote o/r

I believe you have the stock midpipe. I can tell you that when I had my '03 Cobra I got the rotten egg smell from the get-go. About two months after getting the car I changed to a Magnaflow catted X-pipe and a Steeda catback. Smell never returned. So I'm leaning towards this being an issue with the stock midpipe cats. You already have a Stinger catback so you might consider going with a new midpipe (X or H). I'm a fan of the MRT catted H-pipe because it keeps that classic Mustang muscle sound. An X-pipe will make the sound more exotic. JMO.
