Default Lowering Questions

I was going to lower my 2003 Cobra but I really dont know how to go about doing that...I mean What all do I need? Just lowering springs? How low is normal 2 inches? Does it affect my cars performance in any way? Also is it hard to install them? thanks guys..

other then springs...Caster camber plates...I thought about lowering my Cobra until I had to change the oil for the first time!

With the right set-up, the car will handle a lot better, performance on a loopy loop track should be better, drag racing might hurt a little...

2" is a little much, it would look sweet, but you would def. need CC plates and a re-align, possibly offset rack bushings as well. I'd say the norm is 1.5" drop... Thats what my Cobra has.. It has a nice stance but isnt slammed. ( I need to update my sig thats stock ride height )

Get maximum motorsport c/c plates with their blue dust boots. Then get either h&r race or supersport springs
heres a pic of my car with race springs and all isolators in

Perfect! This is the same setup I'm going to go with. I'm going to go with the H&R race.

Make sure you have plenty of tools available. The way i did mine was dropping the lower control arms, rear and front. Friend helped.

I bought my H&Rs for $80 on ebay. good deal IMO

*No isolators anywhere
