I'm looking at getting a 96 cobra. I want to use it for autox and the drag strip. The car already has:
Vortech supercharger 9 psi
BBK Shorty Headers
Off-road H-pipe
Flowmaster 40 series mufflers
Eibach Lowering springs
42lb injectors
fuel pump I forget what brand
4:10 gears
spec stage 2 clutch
How do these cars handle? I was thinking about adding some shocks and struts, new rotors, and new brake pads. Any other suggestions? Guesstimate on hp? I'm thinking somewhere in the 420-440 whp region. Am I close?

 

WHP should be right around 400+

Our cars handle pretty well.. Some decent brake kit, and like you said shocks and struts and it will do pretty well on the auto-x track..

 

Oh and I forgot. Any guesses on what it should run in the 1/4?

 

With a decent tire and a god 60' (1.7) range you should see low low 12s or even high 11s. Your MPH should be around 116-118
