...Been to Whitesboro many times! ...Once you start talking over 500 rwhp to need to start looking into 60# injectors and the BAP + a correct tune....that's pretty much why I have left my Cobra at the power level I have now.

...Any good tuner shops out your way?

yea the 60# injectors and the BAP is easy to get but lol the tune is another story. i have one tuner in the area and thats freddy jacobs in utica and he's got a mustang dyne. no experience with kb at all. i had my car dynoed there, but do not think i will have him tune it so im stuck which sucks. right know i am running the kb tune that they send out and eventually once spring comes if i cant sell my car i will be purchasing the big tube kit with the chip recalibration and i should see 400+rwhp @ 10psi. any recommend tuners in ny state?

trust me, or anyone with a boosted engine, a good tune is worth 8hours driving, maybe not flatbed fee's, but at least driving.

+1.. ITS ALL ABOUT THE TUNE!!

And are you dead set against nitrous? I mean you can run low 500's (500-540rwhp) on a stage 5 port with a 100 shot and be in the mid 600's for hp/tor... something to think about, and a much cheaper option.

yea we own a flatbed and a tow truck we have a repair facility here but i had to pick up a car in buffalo last fall with the flatbed and spent about 160 in gas and tolls but that was when diesel was above 4.00 a gallon. i want to tune it so bad but im just stuck you know. i would have to purchase a handheld tuner correct like a sct x3 which is 380 then dyno tune time which is 150/hr. your talking easy 600-1000.

yea not a fan of nitrous at all. i want the power there all the time, im mean granted 500rwhp in a cobra is pretty damn fast. thats about 100-120 more hp than what my car is putting down right now and there basically the same vehicle.
